Glass bead and beach stone necklace

The beads on this necklace are hand-shaped from coloured window glass. They are threaded on hand plaited black cord, together with beach stones sourced from Te Wai Pounamu, the South Island of Aotearoa. The necklace measures an approximate length of 80 cm and is height adjustable with the glass and bead toggles at the end sliding up and down, allowing the pendant to be worn high or low, dependent on mood or dress.

Each glass bead is hand shaped to a unique form, and has a sea-softened appearance. The necklace is available in the following shades: rainbow or multi-colours; blue; green; red; red/orange/amber/yellow; amber/yellow; purple; purple/green; purple/green/blue; clear/grey. Please note that the colour combinations of the glass beads vary with each necklace – they are individuals! Featured is a necklace in shades of red.
