Recycled semi circle ceramic pendant – Rain Clouds

This pendant has been handcrafted from broken/recycled china and is formed into a semi circular shape. It measures approximately 6 cm high and 7.5 cm wide. The cord is plaited and is attached to the pendant using a unique double binding method. The length of the cord is approximately 50 cm; it is designed to sit just below the collar bone. It fastens with a simple loop and toggle system; the toggle matching the china of the pendant.

This pendant features a beautiful hand painted rain cloud design. It is crafted from a mug that was purchased in a Trade Aid shop in Ōtautahi, in 2022 or 2023 or thereabouts. It has a definitive curve, due to the shape of the cup.
