This brooch has been shaped from reycled/broken china into a simple oval form. It measures 4.8cm in width by 4.2 cm in height. A brooch fitting has been recessed and glued into the reverse side. High quality epoxy resin has been used to ensure durability.
This brooch has been created from a Crown Lynn willow pattern cake plate, and features the bridge below the willow tree, with three figures walking across it; according to the willow pattern legend they are two lovers, chased by the avenging father.
