Glass round pendant – pressed glass

This glass pendant has been formed into a round shape, from pressed window glass.  Pressed glass has a range of beautiful patterns embossed on its surface during fabrication, in America in this case. This particular design echoes Celtic art with its intertwining motif and is available in red and dark green shades. Pressed glass has been made for at least one hundred years but this is new glass.

The pendant measures approximately 6 cm in diameter, and is hung on hand-plaited cord. It features a unique double binding attachment. The length of the cord is approximately 50 cm; it is designed to sit just below the collar bone. It fastens with a simple loop and toggle system; the toggle matching the colour of the pendant. The glass has a sea-softened appearance. Choose the cord colour below – brown or black.
